… is definitly something we can recommend to do! We stayed 4 nights in St. Peter Port on Guernsey and had a lovely time. The island has beautiful landscapes that include the rugged coastline on the west and the at times busy harbour town of St. Peter Port on the East. The people are very friendly and seem to always have a smile.
We hired some bikes at the Millard & Co rental (who immediatly became YouTube followers. Cheers, Clinton! ;-)) and explored the island on two wheels. The traffic can be quite scary, as everybody seems to race their cars around the island. The Guernsey’ans sure like to drive their cars a lot, which seems weird, since the island is so small.
Thanks to Bill, who spotted us on YouTube and was kind enough to swing by the boat and invite us to the Guernsey Yacht Club. We had a lovely evening. And who knew that Thomas would actually (finally) enjoy drinking Whiskey. It needs Guernsey to get there 🙂
We tried to capture the island in pictures, but see for yourself:
